This research aimed to know the perception of nursing staff about the skills needed for teamwork. It consists of a descriptive, exploratory study with a qualitative approach, carried out through participant observation in the workplace and semi-structured interviews with members of the nursing staff - nurses and nursing technicians, a teaching hospital of the Midwest region of Brazil.
