Studies on the chemical constituents of Litsea lancifolia

2008
Objective:To study the chemical constituents of Litsea lancifolia. Methods:AU compounds were isolated from the diethyl ether extract of the title herb by sillica gel column chromatogrphy, and their structures were identified by physical and chemical evidences and spectral methods. Results:Seven compounds were isolated and identified as(-)-aristortetralone(1),dehydrodiisoeugenol(2),dihydrodehydrodiconifery alcohol(3),5,7-dimethoxy-3′,4′-methylenedioxyflavan-3-ol(4),p-hydroxy-benzoic acid(5),vanillin(6),β-sitosterol(7),respectively.Conclusion:All compounds are isolated from this plant for the first time.
