Novel artificial joint alloy and smelting process therefor

2017
The invention relates to a novel artificial joint alloy and a smelting process therefor. The alloy can be used for other medical human implants. The novel artificial joint alloy has no magnetism or toxicity; other properties of the novel artificial joint alloy are equivalent to those of a cobalt-based alloy; in addition, the novel artificial joint alloy is easy to cast and forge and still has no magnetism after being forged; besides, fewer precious metals are used, and the qualification rate of a finished product, brought by easiness in casing and forging, is high, so the consumption of energy and materials is less; from a long-term point of view, the alloy belongs to resource-saving type and environmental-protection type, and has sustainable development significance. In addition, all component elements of the alloy are early applied in an existing artificial joint alloy, therefore, the availability of the novel artificial joint alloy in the medical human implants does not need to be clinically verified.
