The invention discloses a communication system and a communication method related to the communication system. The communication system comprises a base station and a portable device. The portable device and the base station build a telecommunication transmission channel and a wireless region network channel. One of the base station and the portable device serves as a transmitting end, and the other of the base station and the portable device serves as a receiving end. Multiple data packets are divided into a first part and a second part through the transmitting end according to at least one distribution parameter, and then the transmitting end transmits the data packets of the first part to the receiving end through the telecommunication transmission channel, and transmits the data packets of the second part to the receiving end through the wireless region network channel.
