İzmir İli Farklı Lokasyon Koşullarında Kimi Mısır (Zea mays L.) Çeşitlerinin II.Ürün Olarak Tane Verimi ve Bazı Verim Özellikleri Üzerinde Bir Araştırma

This research was conducted in the experimental fields of Field Crops Deparment and Odemis Training College, Ege University in 2005-2006. Different maize cultivars (Brasco, C-955, CT-1, Helen) grown as second crop under mediterranean coastal conditions were tested for grain yield and yield components. For this aim, traits such as duration of tasselling, days of ripening, number of ear per, ear lenght, ear diameter, number of row per ear and grain yield properties were determined. C-955 and CT-1 corn cultivar had the highest grain yield and most promising cultivars for the location. It was concluded that one of the cultivars should be chosen their seed prices
