Enhanced hydrolysis efficiency of rape straw by microwave-assisted dilute alkali pretreatment

In order to obtain higher hydrolysis efficiency,rape straw was pretreated by normal pressure microwave-assisted sodium hydroxide(NaOH) solution.And the pretreatment condition was also optimized.The results showed that the compact structure of rape straw was evidently destructed comparing with those without pretreatment,and was beneficial to hydrolyze by cellulase.The optimum pretreatment conditions were as follows: microwave power is 600 W,microwave time is 5 minutes,microwave temperature is 80 ℃ and the concentration of sodium hydroxide is 0.1 mol/L.The highest enzymatic hydrolyzation is up to 28.09%,which is increased by 2.75 times comparing with the sample without pretreatment.
