Disclosed is a compact three-phase asynchronous motor, belonging to the technical field of motors and in particular to a motor cooling system. The compact three-phase asynchronous motor is mainly technically characterized in that a cooling device adopts air and water composite cooling mode; a cooling system comprises an internal circulating air channel and a water circulating channel; a water jacket consisting of an inner water jacket and an outer water jacket wraps a stator core of the motor; a water passage which can be a radial spiral water passage or an axial circulating water passage is arranged between the inner water jacket and the outer water jacket; a water inlet is arranged at one end of the water passage and a water outlet is arranged at the other end of the water passage; a cooling water drain passage is arranged right below the motor and is connected with the water passage; an air cooling channel is arranged between the outer water jacket and an outer shell of the motor; and an air inlet and an air outlet are arranged at two ends of the air cooling channel. The asynchronous motor is small in volume, low in fabricating cost and good in heat dissipation effect, with the power increased by more than 2 times as compared with the other motors with the same volume.
