DRAINAGE TUBE DEVICE AND UNIT coupling.

A drain tube apparatus for suctioning fluids from a human or animal body, comprises a clutch unit having a first and a second coupling part which fluid-tightly to each other are connectable to a first valve (42) which is arranged in the first coupling part and a drainage tube with a patient-side end which is held in the second coupling part. The drainage tube is formed mehrlumig and has a drainage line (10) and at least one additional line (11). This drainage line (10) and at least one of said additional lines (11) with each other at their patient end within the second coupling member in fluid communicating connection. The drainage tube apparatus further includes a second valve (2) which is disposed in the second coupling part and which opens the drainage line (10) and closes. The drainage tube device and the inventive coupling unit are simply constructed and still allow many functions, in particular they prevent dripping when releasing the connection and allow for near-patient pressure measurement.
