The test furnace comprises a furnace body, a furnace grate, a primary air inlet and an electric heating plate, wherein the primary air inlet is formed under the furnace grate and is connected with a primary air volume controller, secondary air inlets and secondary air preheating air ducts are formed in the furnace walls in the left side and the right side, a secondary air intake is formed in the secondary air preheating air duct in the top part of the furnace body and is connected with a secondary air flow controller, air outlets and thermocouple inserting holes are respectively formed in the furnace walls in the front side and the rear side, thermocouples are arranged in the thermocouple inserting holes, and the electric heating plate is arranged in a furnace chamber in a hoisting way. Compared with the prior art, the test furnace disclosed by the utility model has the following advantages that the electric heating plate is adopted for heating the test furnace, the test furnace can be preheated, the furnace chamber temperature during a combustion process of a chain grate stroke can be conveniently simulated, the secondary air preheating air ducts are formed in two sides of the test furnace, thus secondary air can be preheated, energy-saving requirements are met, the air inlet volume can be regulated by an air volume control system, and the influence on garbage high temperature combustion of different air inlet volumes can be researched.
