The Application of SRAP-PCR in Genetic Diversity Study of Henan Wheat Cultivars

The genetic diversity of 22 wheat cultivars from Henan province of China was analyzed using SRAP-PCR method.The results showed that 10 pairs of SRAP primer combinations produced 169 bands,of which 70 bands were polymorphic with 41.42% of polymorphism,average 7 polymorphic bands per primer pair.All the polymorphic alleles of 22 wheat cultivars were recorded,and a cluster analysis among them was also made using UPGMA.The genetic relationships among these wheat cultivars can be characterized by SRAP-PCR,a good way for wheat genetic diversity study.
