The article is devoted to the main forms of interaction of pretrial investigation bodies with operational units of the National Police during pretrial investigation in criminal proceedings against minors. The article contains some recommendations for improving the efficiency and improving the interaction of these units of the National Police. It is stated that at present there is no clear standardization of the principles and procedure of interaction between investigators and operatives during the implementation of operational and investigative measures. Attention is paid to the problematic issues of the investigator's interaction with operational units during investigative (search) actions and covert investigative (search) actions. Тhe investigator is a central figure in the detection and investigation of criminal offenses. First, the optimal organization and efficiency of interaction depend on it. If the investigator does not show the necessary initiative, does not use widely and actively his procedural powers in relation to operational units, it is unlikely to expect positive results of interaction. Secondly, it should take into account the peculiarities of the interaction of pretrial investigation bodies with operational units of the National Police in criminal proceedings against minors. It is important to further improve the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code and bylaws governing investigative (investigative) actions, covert investigative (investigative) actions, operational and investigative measures to ensure all authorized entities a single algorithm for criminal procedural decisions, detailing the forms of interaction between the investigator, the prosecutor and the authorized operational units.
