Device for fine machining of optically active surfaces particularly spectacle lenses

2009
It is disclosed a device (10) for the fine machining of optically active surfaces particularly on spectacle lenses, having a a tool receiving portion (34) having the screw shaft (32) in a spindle housing (36) around a tool axis of rotation (A) is rotatably mounted, and a rotor (40) and a stator (42) having electric rotary drive (38), by means of which the operatively connected to the rotor spindle shaft is rotatably driven around the tool axis of rotation, while the tool receiving portion is axially displaceable in the direction of the tool axis of rotation. A special feature of this device is that the rotor and stator as well as the screw shaft are disposed coaxially in the spindle housing, which defines, in turn, in a guide tube (44) in the direction of the tool axis of rotation axially displaceable (Z) is guided, wherein the spindle shaft is formed as a hollow shaft , via the tool receiving portion executed to receive a membrane feed tool (46) can be acted upon with a fluid, which makes it possible in particular due to a very compact construction and rapid axial compensating movements of the tool in the finish machining.
