The analysis of ARF causes and mortality risk factors in a large multiprofile in-patient hospital of Omsk city revealed the following: renal is the most frequent form of ARF; the highest mortality rate is in patients with prerenal ARF coming up to 50%; mortality risk factors in patients with ARF are oligoanuria, septicemia, need for assisted respiration, resistant hypotension.
