The invention discloses a piston type engine offset crankshaft connecting rod mechanism which comprises an air cylinder, a piston, a connecting rod and a crankshaft. The centre line of the crankshaft is arranged deviating from the vertical center line of the air cylinder, and offset quantity L is 9-12mm. In the offset range, side force acted on the piston in the work stroke can be effectively reduced, lateral pressure of the piston to the side of the air cylinder can be reduced, and consumed energy caused by friction between the piston and the wall of the air cylinder can be reduced correspondingly. Heat efficiency of a combustion engine is improved, and the service life of the air cylinder and the service life of the piston can be prolonged. Due to the offset arrangement of the crankshaft, stroke of the piston is increased, work time of the piston is prolonged, sufficient burning of fuel is benefited, more useful work can be obtained under the same combustion condition, and economic efficiency of fuel oil is improved.
