Scientific Note Substrate color selection by tadpoles of Physalaemus gracilis (Boulenger, 1883) (Anura, Leiuperidae)

In the present study, we performed laboratorial experiments to evaluate the substrate selection in tadpoles of Physalaemus gracilis. Our findings revels the ability of tadpoles to actively select specific portions of the microhabitat based on substrate color, using predominantly darker ones.
