Foreground and prospect of hydrogen in the treatment of lung cancer

Lung cancer is one of the common malignant tumors, which seriously endangers human health.At present, the main clinical treatment methods include surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, molecular targeted therapyetc, but the overall treatment effect is still poor, the 5-year survival rate is low.A new treatmentisurgent needed to change the current situation.In recent years, studies have found that oxidative stress is closely related to the occurrence and development of malignant tumors.Hydrogen as a selective antioxidant can effectively inhibit oxidative stress, thereby inhibiting the occurrence and development of malignant tumors, and hydrogen can significantly reduce the side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy.It provides new methods and ideas for the treatment of lung cancer.Therefore, the role of hydrogen in the treatment of lung cancer has received more and more attention, but the specific mechanism still needs further research.This article reviews the application prospects of hydrogen in the treatment of lung cancer.
