Landscape pattern analysis in Luojiang District of Quanzhou.

2009
The landscape pattern was investigated by using GIS and major landscape indexes with the current land use map of Luojiang District of Quanzhou. The results showed that the area and plaques increased from 368.74 km2 to 374.27 km2 and from 13115 to 30118,respectively,which led to remarkable expansion of the city during 2000-2005.Woodlands were the main landscape with the highest diversity and lowest fragmentation.Agricultural land, garden land, residential land and water area had the higher evenness, higher diversity and higher fragmentation. In general, the landscape of land use was single with low diversity and low fragmentation, the difference between landscapes was low.It was evident that the use of land was not reasonable, and some sustainable development countermeasures were put forward to deal with this problem.
