The main purpose of this paper is to analyze energy saving potentials of air conditioning system in public subway station platform by installing screen doors. Applying current air conditioning system for platform without screen doors is 100% outdoor air system. It is assume that air conditioning system for platform with screen doors is redesigned to the constant air volume system and variable air volume system. To investigate external cooling load and ventilating energy saving potentials, subway operation schedule, lighting load, equipment load, passengers schedule are applied from real-operating data. As a results, constant air volume system can save cooling coil load compared to the 100% outdoor air system. Variable air volume system can not only save cooling coil load but also fan energy consumption according to installing screen doors, and it showed better performance than 100% outdoor air system.
