Tiled display system and display method thereof

The embodiment of the invention provides a tiled display system and a display method thereof and relates to the technical field of display. Through the system, the problem that controller connection is complicated due to bandwidth deficiency is solved, and connection of input ends of the tiled display system is simplified. The system comprises multiple display units, a memory used for storing image signals input into the tiled display system and a controller used for sequentially reading all images of the image signals from the memory through an output interface between the controller and the memory and processing all the images so as to transmit sub-images, corresponding to the display units, in each image to the corresponding display unit. Each display unit further comprises a storage module, wherein the storage module is connected with a display screen in the display unit and used for storing the sub-images, corresponding to the display unit, output by the controller. The controller is also used for controlling all the storage modules to synchronously output the sub-images, corresponding to all the display units, in all the images to all the display screens.
