Studies on the compounding and applications of cooking additive BT

The compounding of cooking additive BT and its applications in the wheat straw alkaline pulping are studied in this paper.The experimental result shows that BT is a good additive in that it has good water soloubility and dispersion,low pulp stiffness,high yield and paper fatigue resistance and it is directly added along with the cooking liquor.
