El objetivo del presente trabajo es resaltar la importancia de la gestion educativa como proceso de transformacion social. Se apoyo en los postulados de: Constitucion Nacional (1999) Ley Organica de Educacion (2009), Vizcarromero (2013), Ruiz (2012), Anzola (2012), Savater (1998), Perez Esclarin (1999), entre otros. Investigacion documental con enfoque interpretativo fenomenologico- hermeneutico. La gestion educativa se constituye en el proceso de transformacion social, a traves de cuatro tipos de gestiones: directiva, pedagogica y academica, de la comunidad, administrativa y financiera. Se concluye que en Venezuela no se aplica una gestion educativa totalmente eficaz. The aim of this paper is to highlight the importance of educational management as a process of social transformation. It is supported on the postulates of: National Constitution (1999), Organic Law of Education (2009), Vizcarromero (2013), Ruiz (2012), Anzola (2012), Savater (1998), Perez Esclarin (1999), among others. Documentary research with phenomenological hermeneutical interpretive approach. Educational management is in the process of social transformation through four types of steps: directive, educational and academic community, administrative and financial. It is concluded that in Venezuela a fully effective educational management does not apply.
