Preparation and photoluminescence properties of praseodymium-activated LaInO3 used as a red-emitting phosphor

Rare-earth Pr3+ doped LaInO3 red-emitting phosphors were synthesized by a conventional high temperature solid-state method at mosphere. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and molecular fluorescence spectrometer were made use of to characterize the crystal structure and photoluminescence properties of the phosphors, respectively. The XRD analysis indicates that the phosphor presents pury crystalline phase. The excitation spectrum illustrates that the phosphor has severval sharp peaks at at 444nm (3H4→3P2), 468nm (3H4→1 I6), 477nm (3H4→3P1) and 488nm ( 3H4→3P0).
