Liquid crystal display device having in cell type touch sensing function
2012
The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device having an in-cell type touch sensing function, which includes: a liquid crystal panel including a first substrate in which a display area and a non-display area at a periphery of the display area are defined, a second substrate facing the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer between the two substrates and including a common electrode and a pixel electrode on the inner surface of the first substrate while an insulation layer is interposed between the common electrode and the pixel electrode, wherein the common electrode includes a first common electrode blocked in correspondence to the display area to be separated into a plurality of parts and connected in a first direction, and a second common electrode having a structure separated both in the first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and the first and second common electrodes are alternately formed in the second direction; a plurality of first channel wires formed in the non-display area of the first substrate and connected to the first common electrode; a plurality of second channel wires connected to the second common electrode; a resistance unit connected to the first and second channel wires and including indium-tin-oxide (ITO); and a touch sensing circuit connected to the first and second channel wires, wherein all the second common electrodes located on the same line in the second direction are connected to the same second channel wire.
