İTALYA’DA COVİD-19’UN BÖLGELER ARASI YAYILIMI: KEŞFEDİCİ MEKANSAL VERİ ANALİZİ

In this study, the spreading status of COVID-19 infectious disease among neighboring regions was investigated with the spatial dependency statistic Moran I. For this purpose, using data from 20 regions of Italy, univariate and bivariate Global and Local Moran I statistics were calculated. According to the result of the univariate Moran I statistic, it was concluded that COVID-19 infectious disease spread among neighbors before border crossings between regions were banned. The lagged effect of spatial propagation was investigated with the bivariate Moran I statistic. According to the result of the bivariate Moran I statistic, it can be said that the total number of cases occurring in neighboring regions in the first 14 days is one of the reasons for the total number of cases in the second 14 days. As a result of these findings, it can be said that by stopping the transits between provinces or regions earlier, the rapid spread of infectious diseases such as COVID-19 can be prevented. Bu amacla, Italyanin 20 bolgesine ait veriler kullanilarak tek degiskenli ve iki degiskenli Global ve Local Moran I istatistikleri hesaplanmistir. Tek degiskenli Moran I istatistiginin sonucuna gore, bolgeler arasinda sinir gecisleri yasaklanmadan once COVID-19 bulasici hastaliginin komsular arasinda yayildigi sonucuna ulasilmistir. Iki degiskenli Moran I istatistigi ile mekansal yayilmanin gecikmeli etkisi arastirilmistir. Iki degiskenli Moran I istatistiginin sonucuna gore ise ilk 14 gunde komsu bolgelerde ortaya cikan toplam vaka sayisinin ikinci 14 gundeki toplam vaka sayisinin nedenlerinden biri oldugu soylenebilir. Bu bulgular neticesinde iller veya bolgeler arasi gecislerin daha erken durdurulmasi ile COVID-19 gibi bulasici hastaliklarin cok hizli yayilmasinin engellenebilecegi soylenebilir.
