Phosphor-containing identifier article and method for producing same

A phosphor-containing identifier article according to the present invention comprises a base material and a phosphor-containing silicone thin layer that covers the entire or a portion of the surface of the base material, wherein the phosphor cannot emit light upon the irradiation with visible light and can emit light upon the irradiation with ultraviolet ray or black light to exhibit identifying performance thereof. A method for producing a phosphor-containing identifier article according to the present invention comprises bringing a silicone composition for forming a phosphor-containing thin layer into contact with a base material after the molding of the base material or simultaneously with the molding of the base material, and then heating the resultant product. Thus, provided are: a phosphor-containing identifier article in which a silicone thin film can be used, the adhesion to a base material is excellent, and the inherent properties of the base material cannot be deteriorated when marking is applied to the base material; and a method for producing the phosphor-containing identifier article.
