Rethinking strategies for engaging students: Note taking or note making?

From 2010 Section I of the HSC examination in both Ancient and Modern History will be divided into Part A and Part B. Part A, worth 15 marks, will contain short answer questions and between 5 and 10 objective response (multiple choice) questions. The questions will require students to 'use sources and apply their own knowledge'. Part B, worth 10 marks, will be the same type of question as the old Question 3.
