A study on the interest of students using social media in learning during lock down period(Covid-19):

Corona virus disease 2019 (covid -19) is an infectious disease first identified inDec2019 in Wuhan, the capital of China is an ongoing pandemic . The World HealthOrganization(WHO) declared the 2019-20 coronavirus outbreak a Public Health Emergencypf International Concern(PHEIC) on 30th January 2020 and a pandemic on 11 th March 2020.On March the Government of India ordered a nationwide lockdown for 21 days, limitingmovement of the entire 1.3 billion population of India as a preventive measure against the2020corona virus pandemic in India. The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic has affectededucational systems worldwide, leading to the widespread closures of schools, universitiesand colleges. As of 12 April 2020, approximately 1.71 billion learners have been affected dueto school closures in response to the pandemic. In response to schoolclosures, UNESCO recommended the use of distance learning programmes and openeducational applications
