Progress with standard components: Rapid tooling: A new system cuts downtimes for exchange of mould inserts

As product cycles become shorter, there is increasing demand for prototypes resembling mass-produced parts. A newly developed mould changing system permits almost production-quality prototypes to be produced rapidly and cost-effectively, in different sizes, and from different mass-production materials. The included ejector assembly allows insertion and removal of the mould inserts from the parting line.
