Effects of mannitol and AgNO_(3) on the regeneration of wheat cells

Effects of mannitol and AgNO_(3) on cell regeneration and activities of IAA oxidase and IAA peroxidase in calli of Triticum aestivum L. cv. Bao 7059 were compared. The results indicated that the regeneration was significantly increased by AgNO_(3), but reduced by mannitol; The activities of IAA oxidase and IAA peroxidase were significantly promoted by mannitol, but not influenced by AgNO_(3).
