Astronomy Clubs, Public Outreach, Star Parties, and Staying Social in Later Years

There are a number of activities and organizations that can keep an active senior-aged astronomer socially connected and interactive in the community. First and foremost is the local astronomy club, where seniors can meet people of all ages from their community and nearby areas who share the same interest in astronomy. Most astronomy clubs support public outreach and provide their school districts with science education opportunities.
