Addukte schwefelhaltiger Heteroaromaten mit SbCl3 Untersuchungen zur Bildung und Kristallstruktur von 2,2′‐Dithienyl · 2 SbCl3 und Benzo[b]thiophen · 2 SbCl3

Wahrend das System 2,2′-Dithienyl—SbCl3 wegen irreversibler thermischer Zersetzungsreaktionen mit DTA nicht untersucht werden konnte, resultierte mit dieser Methode fur das System Benzo[b]thiophen—SbCl3 quasibinares Verhalten und die Existenz einer bei 71,2°C kongruent schmelzenden Verbindung Benzo[b]thiophen · 2 SbCl3. Kristalle dieses und des analog zusammengesetzten Addukts 2,2′-Dithienyl · 2 SbCl3 wurden aus Losung erhalten. Ihre Strukturen wurden durch Rontgenbeugung als die von bπ-v-Komplexen bestimmt. Sie werden mit denen anderer Menshutkin-Komplexe verglichen. Die π…Sb-Wechselwirkungen werden durch Abstande zwischen den Ebenen der planaren Heteroaromaten und den transoid uber den beiden einzelnen Ringen angeordneten Sb-Atomen von 316 (Dithienyl-Addukt) und 325 pm (Benzothiophen-Addukt) angezeigt. Eine besondere koordinative Bindungsbestatigung der S-Atome liegt nicht vor. Die intermolekulare Verknupfung in den SbCl3-Teilstrukturen wird beschrieben. Crystals of this adduct and that of analogue composition 2,2′-dithienyl · 2SbCl3 were obtained from solution. Their structures were determined by X-ray diffraction as those of bπ-v complexes. They are compared with other Menshutkin complexes. The π…Sb interactions are indicated by distances between the planes of the planar hetero aromates and the Sb atoms located in a transoid way above both single rings of 316 (dithienyl adduct) and 325 pm (benzothiophene adduct). There is no particular coordinative bond formation by the S atoms. The intermolecular linking in the SbCl3 partial structures is described.
