Affine techniques on extremal metrics on toric surfaces

Abstract This paper consists of a package of real and complex affine techniques for the Abreu equation on toric surfaces/manifolds. In particular, as an application of this package we give an interior estimate for the Ricci tensor of toric surfaces.
