The invention discloses preparation of perovskite quantum dot nanocrystals and application of the perovskite quantum dot nanocrystals in quantum dot solar cells. By using the characteristics of a solvent evaporation process and a solution process, p-type semiconductor:organic lead halide perovskite quantum dot nanocrystals are successfully prepared; the organic/inorganic reactant ratio is changed to regulate the energy level of the perovskite semiconductor; the reaction temperature and reaction time are changed to control the particle size of the perovskite quantum dots, so that the perovskite quantum dots can be matched with the energy level of the n-type semiconductor material TiO2; and the PEDOT:PSS is used as an auxiliary hole transmission material to assemble the perovskite quantum dot solar cell with high photoelectric conversion efficiency. The perovskite synthesis process has the advantages of low raw material cost, mild reaction conditions and higher safety due to no high-temperature high-pressure reaction, and is simple to operate; the prepared crystals have high stability, favorable crystal form and artificially controllable semiconductor energy level. The perovskite solar cell is easy to assemble, has the advantages of low cost and high photoelectric conversion efficiency, and has higher development value.
