Inverter control device and vehicle control device

2015
When a failure occurs in the rotating electrical machine drive device, fail-safe control is appropriately executed while suppressing an excessive increase in the current for charging the DC power supply and the DC link voltage. The inverter control device is an fail-safe control that controls the upper-side active short circuit control that turns on the upper switching elements of all the arms of the plurality of phases, and the lower stage that turns on the lower switching elements of all the arms of the plurality of phases. Active short circuit control (ASC) of either side active short circuit control and shutdown control (SD) for turning off all switching elements are selectively executed. The inverter control device executes active short circuit control (ASC) or shutdown control (SD) in accordance with the rotation speed of the rotating electrical machine or the modulation control method being executed when a failure occurs in the rotating electrical machine drive device.
