On Differentiating of the Front and Back Nasal Finals in Teaching

The pronunciation and differentiation of the front and back nasal finals are both the main point and difficult point of teaching of Chinese Putonghua.People in many dialectal regions speak Putonghua without distinguishing the front and back nasal finals.The paper mainly deals with the problems existing in the pronunciation of the front and back nasal finals in dialectal regions in Gansu and finds some ways to deal with them correctly in teaching.The paper is meant to share those findings with all the readers.
