Research on Grouping Management and Control Model of Constellation in Global Navigation System

In order to realize flexible configuration, high transmission, integrated management, structure invulnerability and convenient expand of constellation in COMPASS, model of grouping management and control is presented in this paper. Based on this model of grouping management, the master station is taken as the manager of a group, and the satellite that have the best connection relation with to the manager is taken as the header of a group, the other satellites are taken as group members in COMPASS system. This best connection relation is integration of many factors such as the short link distance, the long connection time, the base connection obliquity etc. Firstly, the topology and its evolvement of constellation of COMPASS system are analyzed. Then the model of grouping management and control is defined and the process of grouping management and control is analyzed. Finally, the predominance of grouping management and control during the construct, run and upgrade of COMPASS system is analyzed and summarized, and the construct advices about COMPASS system are given.
