The utility model discloses a coating and hold-down device for an automatic molding machine of a hand strap. The coating and hold-down device comprises a base plate and two rows of symmetrically-arranged hold-down modules which are mounted on the base plate, wherein the hand strap is arranged between the two rows of the hold-down modules; each hold-down module comprises a hold-down wheel; each hold-down wheel is mounted on a flat plate by a hold-down wheel mounting frame at one end of each hold-down wheel; the flat plate is driven by a piston rod of a bidirectional air cylinder; the bidirectional air cylinder is mounted on the base through an air cylinder mounting frame; the base is mounted on the base plate; the middle point of each hold-down wheel of each row of the hold-down wheel module is in contact with the hand strap, and contact points are sequentially and uniformly distributed at different positions of the periphery of the side edge of the hand strap. According to the coating and hold-down device, the two rows of the specially-arranged hold-down modules are used for holding down the hand strap; the hold-down effect is good and the efficiency is high; manpower can be completely replaced; when the working efficiency is 160 meters per hour, the working efficiency is eight times as much as that of manual molding efficiency; one set of equipment is equal to eight workers, so that the production cost is saved.
