Evaluation of Quality and Construction Performance of Fresh Concrete from Viewpoint of Compaction Energy

This paper proposes a simple method for the quantitative evaluation of segregation resistance from the view-point of compaction completion energy that can be applied also for mix proportion design and acceptance inspections of concrete for civil engineering use with slumps between 5 and 15 cm, defining compaction completion energy as the energy required by concrete to reach the theoretical density of the concrete's mix proportion from the concrete's apparent bulk density in the formwork. The proposed evaluation method enables also quantitative and detailed construction planning through quantification of the internal vibrator insertion interval and vibration time.本稿では,コンクリートが型枠中の見掛けのかさ密度から配合の理論密度に至るのに必要なエネルギーを締固め完了エネルギーと定義し,スランプが5~15 cmであるコンクリートを対象として,締固め完了エネルギーの観点から,配合選定および受入れ検査としても普及できる簡易かつ定量的な分離抵抗性評価方法を提案している。本研究により,内部振動機の挿入間隔と振動時間を定量化することができ,定量的かつ詳細な施工計画を立てることを可能にした。
