The effect of Learning model on students creative thinking in sixth grade science class.

Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of 5E educational design pattern on the creativity of students on science lesson in sixth grade students. Methods: This quasi-experimental study followed by a pretes-postest design whit an experimental group and a control group. Statistical research community includes all elementary students in schools of the city''''''''s Shabestar. Two of the school were selected for the sample and were determined as the control group and the experimental group. Prior to the implementation of the independent variable, the amount of creativity of groups were measured using Torrance. Then the experimental group was taught through 5E Educational Design Pattern for eight sessions. After completion of the intervention sessions, so the post-test was conducted for both groups. Results: Results of a variance analysis showed that 5E instructional design pattern has been effective on creativity of students. 001/0 ≥P).). Conclusion: Using 5E design pattern in science education increased the amount of creativity of the sixth grade students.
