Therapeutic Effect of Tension-free Vaginal Tape on 53 Mixed Urinary Incontinence

Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of tension-free vaginal tape(TVT) operation on mixed urinary incontinence.Methods: 53 patients receiving TVT from 8/2005 to 8/2007 were observed.Results:After operation,43 cases had obvious effect,10 had urinary retention and 2 got deprementia.At 24 month follow-up,7 patients had tape erosion,1 had nephropyelitis.15 patients had urgent micturition shortly after operation,and then relieved in the longterm.Conclusions: TVT is effective and safe,but it's crucial to exclude patients of dysuria,neurogenic bladder,neurosis and nocturia.Combined use of drug in TVT is also important for satisfied results.
