Objective To explore the methods and effects of training the comprehensive ability of transferring newborns with severe diseases in nurses. Methods The simulation training including neonatal advanced life support (NALS), nursing skills, emergency treatment process and response ability was performed in NICU nurses. Results The transfer related knowledge and skills were significantly improved and emergency resuscitation workflow was more efficient than before. Conclusions The simulation training can improve comprehensive ability including emergency response capability and coordination ability for NICU nurses.
