Development of Islamic hotels in Malaysia: A conceptual paper

The increasing trend of tourist arrivals from Islamic countries has led to the significant growth of Islamic Hotels in Malaysia. In response to this growth, tourism providers have taken numerous efforts to customise their products and services to entice this group of tourists. To keep up with this trend, hotel providers have introduced the concept of Islamic Hotels to cater to the religious needs of Muslim tourists. This paper aims to explore the practice and development of Islamic Hotels in Malaysia. Apart from that, this paper also examines the prospects and challenges of establishing Islamic Hotels in Malaysia.
