It was made and validated a methodology for the characterization of places with exotic diseases introduction/dissemination risk in our country. We developed a computer system (FOXPRO, v. 2.0) to analyze the information to evaluate integrally all the places. The biological risk rate is an expression ofthe menaces and vulnerability of these places to the animal population exposed. 1
