The utility model discloses a device for preventing gas explosion after gate closing and plugging of a diversion tunnel. The device comprises a gate (1) utilized for closing the gate of the diversion tunnel and a concrete choke plug (2) used for plugging the diversion tunnel. The device is characterized in that a device for filling water and exhausting gas is arranged in the concrete choke plug (2) and between the gate (1) and the concrete choke plug (2). The device for filling water and exhausting gas consists of a water filling steel tube (3) and an exhausting steel tube (4) which are pre-embedded into the concrete choke plug (2) through seamless steel tubes. After the diversion tunnel is conducted for gate closing and plugging, gas between the gate and the concrete choke plug is obstructed, and the gas is exhausted by the water filling steel tube pre-embedded in the concrete choke plug and the exhausting steel tube at the lining concrete top part of the diversion tunnel and the top part of the concrete choke plug. The way that the exhaust vents are arranged at the top of a mountain that the diversion tunnel passes through is avoided, so that the construction difficulty of the exhaust vents can be reduced, the cost of an exhaust unit can be reduced, and the security and stability of the engineering can be guaranteed.
