A Market Interaction Model for the Integration of Energy Efficiency Top-Runner and Energy Conservation Standard

Energy efficiency top-runner (EET) and energy conservation standard (ECS) are two different mechanisms to energy conservation enhancement. The integration of EET and ECS is crucial for promoting overall social energy efficiency improvement. This study analyzes current situations and characteristics of EET and ECS, then probes into three integration mechanisms. Furthermore, the study develops a market interaction model based on the complex adaptive system (CAS) theory and basic principle of market economy, and proposes an interactive algorithm and fuzzy rule base according to the fuzzy set theory.
