Irrational Space of Kafka

2009
In Kafka's novels, architectural space is the materialized form of his existential perception and the graphic representation of his philosophical thinking. Kafka's architectural space assumes obvious irrational features, suggesting the real state of existence with the space of indeterminacy, space of absurdity, and space of discontinuity. Space of indeterminacy is the picture of the dark prospect of human existence;space of absurdity speaks for the order on the basis of deception and falsity;space of discontinuity represents the fragmentation of reality and the spiritual alienation.
