Effect of standardized continuous nursing care on patients discharged from hospital after endoscopic sinus surgery

2017
Objective To explore the clinical effect of standardized continuous nursing care in patients discharged from hospital after endoscopic sinus surgery. Methods 90 cases of endoscopic sinus surgery in our hospital were selected as the research object, and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, 45 cases in each group. Control group was given discharge guidance before discharge, while the observation group was given standardized continuous nursing care. Observed the treatment effect and treatment compliance of the two groups. Results The total effective rate of endoscopic sinus surgery in the observation group (95.56%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (82.22%), with statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). The scores of taking steroids, sinus flushing, timely review of nasal vesicles clearance, developing good habits, and the total score in the observation group were (8.26±1.32), (8.74±1.23), (9.04±1.36), (9.52±0.69), (36.02±3.44), significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of standardized continuous nursing care can effectively improve the treatment effect, the treatment compliance, and the prognosis of patients discharged from hospital after endoscopic sinus surgery, with more favorable clinical application value.
