OBSERVATION OF IN VITRO ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF DOMESTIC MINOCYCLINE AGAINST 124 STRAINS OF STAPHYLOCOCCUS EPIDERMIDIS

ObjectiveIn order to evaluate the antibacterial activity of domestic Minocycline against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis(MRSE) and methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus epidermidis(MSSE). MethodsThe antibacterial activity of domestic Minocycline and Minocycline(Wyeth-Whitehall) against MRSE(43 strains) and MSSE(81 strains) was comparatively studied used by agar dilution method. ResultsThe antibacterial efficiency of Minocycline against 43 strains of MRSE, and 81 strains of MSSE was good, and the MIC90 of that against MRSE and MSSE were 2 and 1 mg/L respectively. ConclusionThe antibacterial efficiency of domestic Minocycline against MRSE (43 strains),and MSSE(81 strains) is good. The sensitive ratio of MRSE and MSSE to domestic Minocycline were 100 %.
