Design of automatic gas tightness testing system for welded pipe

Aiming at the problems of rust and corrosion after the water immersion test of the common welded pipe, an automatic welded pipe air tightness detection system with clean dry air as the working medium is designed. Based on the test principle of evaluating the sealing performance of welded pipe with the change of internal pressure, an automatic testing mechanism is built, which can automatically load materials and test the air tightness of four welded pipes at the same time. The test results show that the detection accuracy of the designed air tightness detection system is greatly improved, reaching ± Spa, and the detection accuracy rate is over 99%, which well meets the design requirements of high accuracy and efficiency. The system features stable performance, convenient operation and effectively improves the automatic level of detection. It can be applied to the air tightness detection of welded pipe in actual production.
