INFORMATIONAL CONTENT OF HAIR ELEMENTARY COMPOSITION TO DIAGNOZE CHRONIC GENERALYZED PERIODONTITIS

The paper presents the results of the study on the elemental composition of the hair of patients with chronic generalized periodontitis. Deficiency of calcium, magnesium, and elevated levels of lead, mercury, chromium, manganese, and nickel was revealed compared with the control group (p <0.05). We have established a correlation between the disease severity and content of calcium, magnesium, mercury in patients’ hair.
